Our two year old program is a wonderful introduction to a social environment for a two year old. Two year olds will have lots of opportunity to explore their worlds and learn through sand and water, sensory tables (think flour, rice, shaving cream), block building, beginning color and matching activities, practical life, dramatic play, physical play, painting, play dough and music time.

We understand that two year olds are not able to sit in large groups for long periods of time and so most of our program curriculum allows the two year old to learn and play on their own terms. We are listening to what the experts in early childhood education are saying and we have developed our program according to the guidance and counseling of the experts in the field.

Our three year old program is designed to introduce children to the world of numbers, colors, shapes and sounds and to develop each child’s small and large motor skills.

Children learn positive social skills through dramatic play and enjoy moving their bodies and learning new physical skills that challenge them, such as: balancing, jumping, climbing and running.

Music is an important part of our curriculum and children are introduced to a variety of music including classical music, world music and singing. A variety of props are used such as puppets, shakers, scarves, ribbons, instruments and more.

Ms. Cindy has been teaching 3 year olds for many years and is an exceptional teacher. She has completed many hours of training in early childhood education and has developed a wonderful preschool curriculum.

Our four year old program continues to build on the numbers, colors, shapes and words children learn in the three year old program. They will continue to develop their small and large motor skills through a new set of challenges and experiences. The curriculum will include an emphasis on developing pre-reading and writing skills while being rich in art and music.

Ms. Lori and Ms. Carol bring years of teaching experience and a great love of reading and writing to our program. They love integrating music and art into children’s learning experiences.

Ms. Pat Fuller is joining us in our private kindergarten program. She has over 30 years of teaching experience and is a phenomenal kindergarten teacher.

Her curriculum will include a heavy emphasis on reading and writing, school readiness and of course art and music. We have 12 openings in this class and the small class size allows us to create an environment in which children can thrive.

Our PlaySchool program is our drop-in program designed for children from 2 years of age to 5 years of age. Children are divided appropriately by age.

The latest research in early childhood education proves that children learn and thrive in an environment where they are able to play in a variety of ways. Children explore their world through play and learn from the experiences they gain through playing.

Our PlaySchool program brings together music, art, dramatic play, large motor development and small motor development. Children are able to choose most of the activities they wish to participate in and explore.

We offer a huge variety of art activities, block play, sand and water play, ball play, physical play in our tumbling facility, dramatic play, science activities, cooking activities, math and language activities.

In summary, we offer numerous activities that they can choose from to play, learn and grow from. Children learn about nature, the world we live in and basic socialization skills. Each PlaySchool session is 3 hours long and parents can choose from either 9-Noon or 1-4pm. Arrangements can always be made to eat lunch at our facility.
